Mission
The Sanam Vaziri Quraishi Foundation seeks to alleviate extreme poverty and inequality through tangible philanthropy: focused investment in education and practical solutions that produce concrete results. By inviting investor-philanthropists to participate in its work, SVQF organizes and optimizes funding for targeted philanthropic initiatives.
SVQF Philosophy
Remedying the global crisis of extreme poverty and inequality calls for accountability and focused measures. By investing our resources into projects that have both an immediate impact and a long-term outlook, we aim to break the cycle of crisis by providing the framework for sustainable benefits while addressing the root causes.
How SVQF Works
SVQF aligns with individuals and organizations that share our belief in targeted efforts yielding tangible results. We invest in established, reputable programs with focused agendas.
Each time SVQF forms a new partnership, our founders fund an initial project and observe the results first-hand, appraising the process and the product to ensure that it successfully contributes to the fight against extreme poverty. Once the organization has demonstrated measurable results, SVQF invites investor-philanthropists to join us in renewing and strengthening our financial commitment.
Why Collaborate with SVQF
At SVQF we believe that individuals can make a difference but that there is also strength in numbers. Allied in our shared philanthropic aim, we consolidate resources and direct them to where they will do the most identifiable good. By pooling our resources and streamlining their delivery, both the organizations supported and the investor-philanthropists supporting them benefit from economies of scale.
Once you’ve selected which pre-screened focused initiative to fund, you can choose to maintain an active role in SVQF’s work by monitoring its progress through the SVQF website and through recurring updates, newsletters and multimedia exhibitions.
SVQF institutes a strict stewardship of investor-philanthropist funds and takes seriously its responsibility to find the most effective project to support. The founders make a significant financial commitment to each project before inviting investor-philanthropist participation.
SVQF pledges that all investor-philanthropist funds will go directly to the chosen projects. All fundraising costs and administrative and operating expenses are satisfied by the founders and individual or corporate sponsors. Your investment will never be used to pay for any of SVQF’s overhead.
SVQF is a tax-exempt 501(c) 3 organization incorporated in 2006 under the laws of the United States. |
